New "Vanessa Calrton" Font

After showing our work to out peers and teachers we had a group meeting to discuss the comments that had been made. Although there were a lot of positive comment there where some negatives, with the most common negative being the choice of font for 'Vanessa Carlton'. The comments we had on the font where that ''the type of font select (script) is correct but the lettering itself is too thin it needs more weight''. After a conversation within the group we have decided to follow this advice and find a different font style of the same type. 


It was decided that Melissa was going to be responsible for searching for a new font for our ancillary tasks. After much searching and debating on her part the new font was selected. The new font is called Vivaldi and will be used on all our groups ancillary products for "Vanessa Carltons" name and initials "VC". We have showed this font choice to our target audience. peers and teachers and they are all in agreement that the new font style is suitable.




As you can see we have stuck with the same type of font (script) but the thickness of the stroke is stronger and the letters are larger and more defined with more of a calligraphic effect. This font is also a lot easier to read than the other font style as the letters are no longer joined together.
